The system automatically creates meta tags of category name, category description, product name, product description and the manufacturer's name on the category, product and manufacturer pages if you do not enter tags yourself. The big advantage of this is that the meta tags are optimal for the specific category or product, which gives a better result in the search engines.
But if you want, you can create your own tags that appear instead:
Opportunity to create your own meta tags.
- To create your own meta tags for categories, go to admin > Catalog & Products > Categories / Products, select the category and edit it. At the bottom of the page are the fields to fill in the meta tags.
- To create your own meta tags for products, go to admin > Catalog & Products > Categories / Products, select the product and edit it. Under the tab "Description and article number" at the bottom of the page, there are fields to fill in the meta tags.
- To create your own meta tags on your own pages, go to admin > CMS / Page and text manager and select the page and click "edit". At the bottom of the page are the fields to fill in the meta tags.
