Postcode-based shipping allows your customers to enter their postcode at checkout (if the customer registers / logs in, the postcode is retrieved automatically) to calculate the shipping.
In admin you can enter either a fixed shipping or shipping based on weight to different postcodes.
If you have the module Postcode-dependent shipping in Sweden installed, do the following to configure it.
Go to admin -> "Payment & shipping method" -> "Shipping" -> "Postcode-based shipping"
By default, there are 6 different zones you can configure.
(Contact us if you need more)
Under postal codes on each zone, you specify for which postal code (s) the freight is to apply.
Example:
- 44242
Then only applies to postcode 44242. - ^442
Applies to all postcodes starting with 442. - 242$
Applies to all postcodes ending in 242. - ^4..42
Applies to all postcodes starting with 4 and ending with 42. - ^4[23456]|^6[5678]
Applies to all postcodes starting with 42 to 46 or 65-68. - ^44[123]42
Applies to all postcodes that start with 44 and have 1, 2 or 3 as the third digit and end with 42. - ^44[^123]42
Applies to all postcodes that start with 44 and do not have 1, 2 or 3 as the third digit and end with 42.
Contact us if any of the above does not cover your postal shipping needs.
Remaining values are set in the same way as our standard shipping module by weight, where you can also enter fixed shipping.
